Melanie Davis, PhD is the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Our Whole Lives Program Manager and is the author of Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education for Older Adults. She joined the UUTRM in 2014 and serves as a lead responder. Melanie brings to the UUTRM her theological grounding as a lifelong UU and her experience as a hospice volunteer, Reiki Master, and Community Emergency Response Team member.
Melanie has been a guest in pulpits around the US and in Canada since 2005, speaking on topics ranging from UU views on sexuality to trauma response, grief, and life changes. She is on the adjunct faculty of Widener University’s Center for Human Sexuality Education, and she is a partner in the New Jersey Center for Sexual Wellness. She is a certified counselor, educator, and educator supervisor through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
Melanie sings in the adult choir at her UU congregation. She has three adult daughters and a cattle dog named Bella.
